There will be a "Geometry-Topology Winter School" in "Nesin Mathematical Village" between January 6-19, 2020.
Some of the mini-courses include:
Advanced Level:
1. Craig Van Coevering: Sasakian Geometry
2. Martin Svensson: Harmonic Maps
3. Andreas Savas-Halilaj: Minimal Submanifolds, Mean Curvature Flow
and Isotopy Problems
4. Kurando Baba: Calibrations and Generalized Duality
5. Dennis The: Symmetry and Cartan Geometry
6. Mustafa Kalafat: Representation Theory of the Lie Algebra of G2
Intermediate Level:
7. ΓzgΓΌr KelekΓ§i: Einstein-Maxwell Manifolds
8. Eyüp Yalçınkaya: Spin Geometry and Seiberg-Witten Equations
9. ΓaΔrΔ± HacΔ±yusufoΔlu: Introduction to Minimal Surfaces
10. Murat SavaΕ: Hyperbolic Geometry
11. Buket Can BahadΔ±r: Introduction to Elliptic Partial Differential Equations
12. Merve Seçgin: Algebraic Topology - Homology and Cohomology Theory
13. Mehmet KΔ±lΔ±Γ§: Metric Geometry
The mini-courses will be of introductory nature and beneficiary to Ph.D. students, Postdocs and beginners to the area.
We will be able to provide some support for graduate students and postdocs for local expenses. We ask all participants, especially those interested in being considered for the support, to complete the registration form as soon as possible.
